Chrissa Maxwell is an imaginative, bright, and outgoing 10-year-old girl who moves with her family to Minnesota. She lives with her "Nana" there and besides learning how to cope in this new environment, Chrissa's greatest challenge is at school, where she is faced head-on with bullying in the form of three girls. Chrissa tries to be friendly and inviting, but the only reponse she gets from those classmates is the cold shoulder. Will Chrissa have the inward strength to stand up to the bullies and let her voice be heard?
